Muck Rack Email Digests help you reduce clutter in your inbox and find your most impactful mentions by combining several Saved Searches to power a single Digest email. Easily pinpoint mentions, spend less time parsing through multiple Alerts, and stay up to date with new articles that match the Saved Search filters you set up.

Overview of an Email Digest
Email Digests include the following:
An Alert Summary at the top that lists the number of results for each alert and the UVM metrics for that alert
A list of results grouped by alert (and depending on the order you set in your Digest settings)
Each results includes:
The name of the article (which opens the article in a new tab when the link is selected)
The date it was published
The name and title of the author (with a link to their Muck Rack profile)
The name of the outlet (which links to the Outlet profile)
A preview of the article with alert keywords highlighted
Up to 4 relevant topics included in the article
Metrics (as selected in your Alert settings)
A link to manually add the article to a Coverage Report
Create a Digest From Scratch
You can create a digest from scratch and then select up to 10 Saved Searches to include within the content to monitor.
From the navigation bar, select Monitoring > Alerts.
Select the Create Alert button.
Select Email Digest as the delivery method.
Set your email and sharing settings.
Select up to 10 Saved Searches to include in your content to monitor.
Use the arrows in the top left corner of each card to adjust the order in which content will appear in your digest.
Select which method you'd like to use to sort coverage in your digest: Recency or Unique Visitors per Month (UVM).
Select the data you'd like to show in the digest using the Show coverage data section.
Select the Save button.
Group Alerts Into a Digest
An alternative to creating a digest from scratch is to select multiple alerts to combine into one digest email. Doing so will copy the criteria from these Alerts into Saved Searches that will then power the digest email. The original Alerts will remain unchanged.
From the navigation bar, select Monitoring > Alerts.
Select the checkbox next to the alerts you want to combine into a digest.
Select the Group as Digest button that appears in the action bar.
When prompted, select the Yes, create saved searches button.
Set your email and sharing settings.
Select up to 10 Saved Searches to include in your content to monitor.
Select the Save button.

What are the different sorting options and what do they mean? | Recency: This will sort coverage in reverse chronological order with the most recent articles appearing at the top.
UVM: This will sort coverage by Unique Visitors per Month, with publications that have the highest UVM placed at the top.
Relevancy: This will sort coverage using a combination of prominence, recency, and domain authority to determine the most relevant results.
Prominence: Articles are sorted by the number of search term mentions in proportion to the volume of the article text. |
