After sending your Pitch, track key metrics such as which journalists have opened your email and/or clicked on a link or image within the body of your email.
Go to your Pitches under Relationships
Select a Pitch
Click the Opened filter
You can leverage these insights to help refine the list of media contacts you're sending to over time. As you learn more about which contacts open and engage with the emails you're sending, you'll continue to improve your open rates by targeting better fit media contacts.
We track email opens with a small, invisible pixel embedded in emails sent through Muck Rack. This is an industry standard for tracking email opens. This open and click tracking can also be disabled if you'd like to send emails that do not track the recipients' opens and clicks. If a recipient does not have their email inbox set up to display images (which triggers the invisible pixel), we still detect that the email was opened if/when a link in the email is clicked.
