Relevancy, Recency, Outlet Rank: Your Search Options

When searching people in Muck Rack, your results will default to Relevancy. You have two other options to arrange your results. See below for explanation.

Relevancy:

Shows journalists most relevant to your search terms and criteria. This means, your terms may show up in bio details (including Twitter profile!) or they have tweeted or published bylines  around  your terms often.

Recency:

Sorts journalists that have mentioned your search terms the most recently in their articles or tweets. This is helpful for monitoring recent coverage and learning about which journalists are writing about specific topics now.

Outlet Rank:

Arrange journalists based on your search terms that work for top-tier publications first.

For example, journalists who work for publications with the highest UVMs (unique visitors per month) will be placed at the top of your search. Search sorted by outlet rank
