Yes! Depending on your level of access, Muck Rack’s Editorial team can import your media lists and recreate them on Muck Rack. Once uploaded, any updates or changes made to Muck Rack’s database will be reflected immediately on your lists including new titles, beats, media outlets, and contact information. If any of your contacts don’t meet our criteria to be added to the main database, we’ll add them as a Custom Contact for your team.
To request Media List import(s), message the team via the chat button in the bottom-right corner while you're logged in to Muck Rack. Attach your media list(s) as Excel spreadsheets or Google Sheets with all of the following information if possible (1-3 is mandatory):
- First name
- Last name
- Email and/or phone number
- Media outlet and title
- Twitter handle for each journalist
Include additional information like how the list should be organized on your account. For example, a media list with multiple sections or documents can be uploaded as one master Media List or individual Media Lists.
We can generally import media lists within 24 hours assuming they are well formatted. If there are many lists (10 or more) or they require a lot of formatting, the import might take a few more days but no more than a week. Muck Rack's Customer Success team will notify you if the turnaround will be longer than 24 hours.
